From the moment I arrived, the staff were super friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The location was mind-blowing, with two tram stops just a short walk away, making it incredibly easy to travel around. I was able to buy my travel tickets right at the reception, which was so convenient. The river views were jaw-dropping, and I loved relaxing and watching the ducks and people canoeing. The value for money was superb, and I would definitely recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a fantastic stay.

This was my first time on a Botel, the room itself and the bathroom are a little bit small, but it was a botel. Vltava, all the ducks, swans were awesome.
Breakfast should be more colourful, there was no vegetables, no fruit.

The room smelled very musty. It was rather shabby. The website said 10 minute tram ride to the city center, but it ended up being a 45 minute bus, tram, and metro ride. Breakfast was sub-standard. Overall the hotel was very loud. The wifi was poor.

Great breakfast with Czech specialties. Low price, close to tram, fast access to city center. Helpful staff, a nice restaurant beside tram station. Convenient tram 17 transport, interesting experience sleeping on a boat. Warm room, hot water, 24h reception. Perfect location for exploring on foot or public transport, frequent tram service. Great shower. Unique stay in original cabins, beautiful waterfront walk. We will return.

View of the river.
It was a little difficult to get to from the train station. The day clerk was quite helpful - some of the other clerks were not as helpful.

Located in a quiet area, yet the city center is easily accessible by tram. Quick check-in and key drop. Close to Zlute Lazne, a riverside beer garden with live music and comedy. Ducks can be fed from bedroom window. Nice shower, bed, and TV. Clean with pleasant-smelling shower gel. Good and affordable dining options nearby. Great views of the river from the lovely terrace. Easy tram system. Good breakfast options, including both white and brown bread. Convenient location near a public swimming pool. Plenty of activities nearby, including beach volleyball, kayaking, hiking, biking. Helpful staff.

The location was good. The staff were all very pleasant. The breakfast was ok.
The rooms were small and drab. Uncomfortable beds, with lumpy pillows and threadbare sheets. The window did'nt open and we found it difficult to turn the radiator off. Only book this botel if you smoke. That was the worst thing. It stunk of fags everywhere! I wasn't unhappy to leave!

I stayed at Botel Racek for a few nights and had a great time. The location was perfect, close to Vysehrad and with easy access to tram stops. The price was reasonable and the staff, especially the lovely Aniołki Raczka at the reception, were always helpful and friendly. The breakfast provided was good and the overall service was fantastic. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to Prague. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
I do recommend this hotel.

The hotel is comfortable, conveniently located and offers excellent value for money. Being on the Vltava river is an added bonus. I will recommend this hotel to anyone intending to visit Prague.
The wooden flooring and walls mean that noise from adjacent rooms can sometimes be very loud, but this was only occasionally a problem.

Quiet, reasonably easy to reach by tram and taxi, comfortable, roomier than expected, excellent value for money
Decor a little dated and old, but still excellent value for money. Breakfast so-so. We are a couple with 3 young children and we had a very comfortable stay.
